Valerie’s hometown of Tacoma, Washington is well known for its laid-back lifestyle. For over ten years, Valerie worked in the banking industry. She distinctly remembers life was just too short for this. Knowing there was more to life than money; Valerie bought her first motorcycle, a 2000 Harley-Davidson Fatboy, and quickly experienced her first drag-racing event and instantly became hooked. After closely listening to her inner voice, she realized her calling. Valerie decided to pursue her passion for drag racing and took it to the next level on a Harley-Davidson V-Rod Destroyer. Her determination, competitive nature, and insatiable need for speed, made the decision clear to compete full-time.
Valerie’s other commitment to herself is to break her current land speed record of 161.736 mph. Her future goal is to become the first women to go over 350 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Valerie looks forward to breaking this record as well as many future land speed records.
Her insatiable appetite for self-improvement and self-accomplishment is what makes her a superstar in development.
Valerie's thoughts:
"I have accomplished a lot in a short amount of time and I believe with all my heart I am going to be a success, but success takes time, effort, faith, and determination. I have to thank my fans and friends who have encouraged me and stuck by me in these interesting times. Your support truly means a lot to me and I will not let you down."
