Valerie Thompson Racing get's her first WIN !!

Hello Everyone!

 

Well, let's get you up to speed on VTR.  First thing first...We won our first race!

 

It was a very important day for the #20 crew as we entered our first drag race event at the Wisconsin International Raceway, Kaukauna, WI. 

 

Due to severe electrical storm damage the day before the event, we raced with a green flag to go, stopwatch for our ET and a white checker flag at the end of the track for the win light.  We made the best of it and came home with a WIN.

 

It’s been a long and anticipating season so far…after sitting out the first part of the 2008 NHRA POWERade season and having a major set back on the sponsorship side of things…I still don’t have a date set for our first NHRA race.  Until then, we will stay focused and keep the dream alive as we continue to test for the up coming big day.  So far to date my career best ET 7.42 @ 176 mph.

Special thanks to my winning crew: Jim Schneider, Randy Hobena, Lee Coffee and Shawn Higbee.  Along with super star Rob Schopf, Jamie McNaughton and Jerry Cameron that could not be there.
